The breaking process with Ally D and special guest David. An exciting and interesting conversation between our host and guest as well as Dj Garry. A great atmosphere for David to answer the questions posed to him.
Is the Rlabs culture valuable?
David explains that he does believe that the Rlabs culture is valuable and that more people should try and live by those values. Even people outside of the organization should try and live by the words and values. David remarks that “Leading with love.” and understanding people when working and speaking with people should always be the case in everyday life.
How does the Rlabs culture influence your everyday life?
David mentions that the Rlabs culture reminds him to always treat everyone with love and walk in love. You should always lead with love regardless of your situations or the pressure you are put under on a daily basis. “ It's important to keep your composure and stick to your morals.”
What comes to mind When you hear the word “Momentum.”?
To David momentum means moving but also making progress while moving. He quotes Denzel Washington, “Just because you are moving does not mean you are making progress.” David remarks on this saying that when you move make sure you are moving in the right direction and that you continue to make progress toward your goal.
The discussion of The Breaking Process culture session
Ally D brings it back to the opening statement of Marlons dialogue. The quote by the writer James. “Consider it as pure joy when you face any kind of trial because you know that the testing of your faith will build perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you will have maturity and completeness.” What stood out for Ally was that whilst you are going through the breaking process that there is something on the horizon for you. Something is being built while you go through the process.
The five points of the breaking process.Remember the breaking process is not there to destroy you but reveal new creations in you.
David’s thoughts on the breaking process. He concurs with what Marlon had mentioned in his dialogue about everyone having to go through the breaking process and the process being a point of molding for you as a person. It is also to strengthen your character, David remarked. “Regardless of what you go through there is always something you can take out of it.”
